FAQ

Where are Flintforged tools made?

Every tool is made by hand right here in Central Missouri. Each Wiggle Pick and hand tool goes through a manufacturing and finishing process in our own shop — no overseas production, no shortcuts.

What is a Wiggle Pick?

A Wiggle Pick is our flagship tool — with a spring-steel digging blade designed for arrowhead hunters, artifact diggers, and outdoor explorers. The blade flexes under pressure without bending or breaking, and the point holds up through countless digs in clay, gravel, and hardpack.

How durable are your tools?

Extremely. We use spring steel that’s both elastic and hardened, giving each tool the strength to lift heavy loads and the flex to survive deep digs. Many customers are still using their first Wiggle Pick years later.

Do you take custom orders?

We occasionally take on custom handle styles, blade sizes, or engraving requests depending on our current workload. Reach out through our Contact Page or email us at support@flintforged.com and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

What’s the difference between the models (Missouri and Texan)?

  • Missouri Wiggle Pick: Shorter and generally thicker blade for cutting through dense roots and rocky soil.

  • Texan Wiggle Pick: Extended reach for deep or wide digs. Typically used in sandier or looser soils.

Each model uses the same spring-steel but tuned for different terrain.

How do I care for my tool?

After digging, rinse off any dirt or clay and dry the blade. Apply a light coat of oil or wax to protect the finish. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, and store your tool indoors when not in use.

Do your tools come with a warranty?

Yes — all Flintforged tools are covered by a 1 Year Craftsmanship Guarantee. If your tool ever fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship, we’ll repair or replace it. Normal wear and tear from years of honest use is part of the story your tool tells.

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Since each tool is made and finished by hand, please allow 5–10 business days for processing before shipment. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our shop.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship across the United States and Canada. If you’re outside these areas, send us a message — we may be able to arrange special shipping.
